A high-dose entheogenic experience with medicines like ayahuasca, psilocybin, ibogaine, DMT, and San Pedro can generate an intense visionary state in which people experience phenomena and visitations by beings described as elves, aliens, entities and angelic encounters. The clinical narrative about the psychedelic experience has little to say about what these phenomena are or how they influence healing and awakening. However the psychedelic-influenced artwork and literature from many cultures reflects these visions, so perhaps they represent multidimensional realities we have yet to uncover and understand.
