INTRODUCTION |
I moved to Iquitos, Peru, in 2004 to live and study with a curandero named don Juan Tangoa. After four years I began a path to form the Ayahuasca Foundation, a non profit organization that offers healing retreats and courses led by authentic indigenous curanderos, and hosts medical research into the effects of treatment in the Shipibo tradition of curanderismo. Passionate about bridging gaps in understanding the ancestral paradigm from the perspective of the modern world, I enjoy speaking about the complexities and nuances of the healing tradition of ayahuasca and plant medicine in the Amazon rainforest.
