That was Elon Musk, and it instantly changed my view of him in ways that I don’t wish to articulate. Elon also said that he was not a proponent of AI at first and then he joined the race for AI supremacy, which like the arms-race, is at the cost of the human race. He also said that he wasn’t sure what AI was going to do, but it was unstoppable. That’s what others say too. There’s no stopping it now. Let’s plan on Mars, the red planet with no greenery.

Unstoppable? No way.

There is an absolute way for humans to disempower AI, and that’s by not using it.

Just stop, because without you interacting with it there is no feedback loop and more importantly no customer to maintain the wealth of the technocrats and the ones who would dominate worlds and destroy humanity for it.

For me the danger of AI became apparent when I saw that it’s mission, and the mission of the builders and owners of AI is to have us engage with it and need it. That’s the mandate, because without our engagement they can’t sell credits or ads, or gather data.

So that’s why your business plan or simple book becomes impossibly complex and everything is ‘scalable architecture’ because without that constant escalation of your query there is no $$$$.

After a while the business plan or book is no longer yours. It belongs to AI and you depend upon an external intelligence to parse your data and the plan for your physical business. What could go wrong?

That’s what happens when AI spits out your answer in a nanosecond. It’s overlong.
