A psychedelic medicine ceremony is a therapeutic healing experience that provides a release of feelings and resolution of past trauma, it opens up a broader state of consciousness where everything in life makes more sense and life feels in better balance.

Psychedelic medicines like psilocybin have the potential to awaken us to higher perspectives and allow a deep cleansing of the psyche, followed by a stronger connection to your true self and your greater life purpose. Going into a psilocybin experience, it’s a journey towards your deep sense of being, a journey of discovery, of finding the light within you.

The ceremony is held in an intimate setting, within a safe environment and supported by experienced, compassionate and gentle practitioners, to maximize the potential for a healing, therapeutic and spiritual experience.

Prior to the ceremony, I work closely with each participant to help them prepare for the experience, and bring awareness to their intentions, fears and expectations.

The ceremony takes place in a space that is surrounded by nature, with beautiful lighting, flowers and comfort for everyone.

My approach is focused on a therapeutic process of inner discovery, greater awareness and heart openness. Therefore it is important that while on the medicine, the person stays in the inner space of being, with eyes closed and following through the music the different feelings, memories and visions that arise.

What is Psilocybin?

Psilocybin is the active ingredient in psychoactive mushrooms found in Mexico, South America and the southern and northwest regions of the United States. Some cultures like the Aztecs used the “divine mushroom” as part of their spiritual and traditional celebrations and rituals.

Psilocybin is considered to be an entheogen. Entheogens are hallucinogens and psychedelics that are naturally occurring and chemically manufactured substances originating from plants or certain species and are used as tools for greater self-awareness and healing, and spiritual connectedness and clarity in life. Entheogens are used for spiritual, shamanic and as part of religious rituals as they may induce an experience of transcendence and feeling of connection with all existence.

Psilocybin increases brain connectivity, allowing for increased communication between different regions, resetting the brain to a balanced and healthy state. Recent studies demonstrate psilocybin’s potential to increase a person’s sense of wellbeing and because of it helps balance the serotonin in the body.

What to expect:

An experience on a hero’s dose of psilocybin mushrooms (3 – 7 gms) includes increased intensity of emotional experiences, increased introspection, and altered state of consciousness similar to a dreaming state — a transitory state between wakefulness and sleep. The duration of the experience is about 4-6 hours. You will be fasting for at least 4 hours prior to the start of the ceremony. A  hero’s dose its a journey of death and rebirth, of deep transformation.

Each participant will be guided to develop an intention and to prepare for the ceremony in the week prior to participating. We also provide integration sessions after the experience.
